ACCEPTANCE

By using bioforgesystems.com, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. These terms apply to everyone who visits and everyone who places an order — whether you're browsing, joining the waitlist, buying a Starter Kit or refill packets, or purchasing an ICP Decode report.

WHAT THIS SITE IS

Bioforgesystems.com is the site for BioForge Living Systems, a reef chemistry brand operated by Carlos Mendiluze in Hialeah, Florida. The site is a transactional storefront: Starter Kits and refill packets are sold through our Shopify-powered checkout, and ICP Decode reports are purchased and delivered directly on the site. All orders are subject to the Purchases, Shipping & Returns section below.

PURCHASES, SHIPPING & RETURNS

Prices are listed in USD and charged at checkout. Physical orders (Starter Kits, refill packets) ship within 3–5 business days from Hialeah, FL via USPS Priority or UPS Ground; shipping is free on all US orders, and we currently ship within the United States only. ICP Decode reports are digital and generated automatically after your ICP data is submitted.

Unopened Starter Kits and refill packets can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or missing items, we'll replace it or issue a full refund, no return required — just email hello@bioforgesystems.com with your order number and a photo. Opened chemistry packets can't be returned for safety reasons, but if you're unhappy with the product for a chemistry-related reason, reach out and we'll work it out. Full details are in our FAQ.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on this site — text, photographs, the BioForge logo and brand mark, product designs, the V5.9 formulation references, batch reports, the editorial writing, and the source code that runs the site — is owned by BioForge Living Systems or its licensors. You may read it, share links to it, and quote brief portions with attribution. You may not republish substantial portions, scrape it for training data, or use the BioForge name, logo, or product imagery for commercial purposes without written permission.

Third-party trademarks named on the site (Reef Labs, ESV, Tropic Marin, Brightwell, ATI, Red Sea, Triton, Randy Holmes-Farley, and others) belong to their respective owners. Their use here is descriptive, comparative, or attributive — not an endorsement in either direction.

ACCURACY

We work hard to make the chemistry, math, and references on this site accurate. ICP-OES batch reports are independently verified by Reef Labs and published as received. Comparison data in the calculator is derived from manufacturer-published documentation with source citations. We will correct errors when they are pointed out.

That said, reef chemistry depends on individual system variables we can't see from a website. The information on this site is general guidance, not personalized advice for your tank. You are responsible for verifying dosing decisions against your own water tests and the realities of your livestock.

NO WARRANTIES, LIMITED LIABILITY

This site is provided "as is." We make no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose. To the maximum extent allowed by law, BioForge Living Systems is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site or its information — including, specifically, livestock outcomes in your tank.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

WAITLIST AND BETA

Joining the waitlist is voluntary and does not create a purchase obligation on either side. Beta participation, when offered, is governed by these terms plus any additional beta-specific agreements posted at the time of selection. We may add, modify, or remove waitlist and beta features without notice.

EXTERNAL LINKS

Some links on the site point to external websites — Reef Labs, Reef2Reef, Randy Holmes-Farley's articles, manufacturer documentation, and others. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, privacy practices, or availability.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these terms as BioForge evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top will change, and material changes will be announced before they take effect. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.

GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
